Mr. lybrate-user. 1. Confirm whether the bleeding is from piles or some other large intestine site. 2. To consult some proctologist near by. 3. There are two choices for confirming. Videorectoscopy and colonoscopy. 4. If you have lost weight in recent past or the blood is mixed with stools then it may not be because of piles. Should rule out tumour in colon or rectum. 5. If it because of piles, get it graded. Because 1st and 2nd degree usually can be managed with life style changes, diet and stool softeners with pile shrinking medicines.
