Dronis 30 Tablet For Contraception

I'm 29 years old and have pcod. I'm taking dronis 30 to regularise irregular periods. Very soon i'll get married. I wanted to know that whether dronis 30 acts as a contraceptive to prevent pregnancy? If yes, how long can I continue with dronis 30? Is it safe overall for pregnancy and pcod?

Pcod/pcos is a common hormonal disorder in women which can lead to weight gain and irregular periods. While most women depend on pills to deal with it, these simple changes in your lifestyle will help you deal with the condition in a better way. 1.Nutritional approach: deficiency of micronutrients contributes to insulin insensitivity and compromise ovarian function. So, 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of plain water first thing in the morning (preferably within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, seasonal fruit (eat whole fruit not juice), a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. Take simple food like rice n dal in dinner. 6. Avoid fast foods n fried foods7. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 8. Drink lot of water9. Everyday preferably sleep on same time10. Maintain active life style2. Exercise strategies: regular workouts are non-negotiable. They are essential to burn off fat stores for hormonal balance and regular ovulation. You should join a gym for weight training. Do it 2-3 times a week with at least 48 hours in between 2 sessions. Other days you can do cardio exercises like yoga, cycling, swimming etc. 3. Sleep: adequate sleep is non-negotiable too. Sleeping at a more or less fixed time every day and for an adequate number of hours is a prerequisite to keep hormones in sync. 4. De-stress yourself: love yourself more than anyone else, prioritize your health, learn to say no, take time out to exercise and relax. Pursue your favorite activities, learn a new skill, and never ignore your body signals. For more details you can consult me.

Yes there are chances of pregnancy. Dronis 20 is sn ordl contraceptive pill has to be started from 1st day of cycle. It is not started midcycle .if started midcycle it will not protect from conception. If she misses her periods then do urine pregnancy test.

Good evening.. are u taking dronis for pcos or contraception? It ll help to reduce acne but it ll take time .. u cannot expect to reduce immediately after start the treatment . And also it depends on the type of ur acne. If the acne is due to hormonal imbalance then these tablets will show some effect but other type of acne will not be effective. So wait for few months and see .. it ll take time to balance the hormones once u start the treatment.. give it a little time .

I had a pco problem thats why taking dronis 30 for last 2 years. After stopping dronis my doctor gave normoz and ecosprin 75 and in the second cycle I conceived but it was diahonised as blighted ovum. So abortion was done in 9 weeks and now my doctor again gave dronis 30 for next 6 cycles, health ok for 1 month and vitamin d3 for 12 sundays and asked to give 6 months gap. Can you tell is dronis is affecting my egg quality or pregnancy. Should I take dronis or not and is 6 months gap is essential or I can plan after 3 months. My husbands semen report is 35% abnormal and 65% normal and motility 70. Please suggest I am in a worry and I do not want any repetition of miscarriage further.

Good evening. I understand it's sad to have diagnosed as blighted ovum and to have abortion. But do not worry once you had that problem doesn't mean that everytime you have the same one. And dronis will not affect your uterus or your egg quality. It is safe to use. But you see without taking any tablets for 1/2 months to see if your cycles are regular. Wait for 3 months and then you can plan for pregnancy. U can go with ovulation induction or iui if your husbands sperm is problem. Ask your husband to see a urologist to improve his sperm count. If any further quiries please contact me through online consultation.

Dronis is a contraceptive and your doctor had given it to you to regularises your periods so use them for 2 cycles and once it's over. You can plan to concieve naturally from nest cycle. Mean while take prenatal vitamins for preventing repeated abortion little prior. Contact directly on more details and discussion on this.
