Their is some duplication in diabetic medication in this case. Janumet has sitagliptin and trajenta has linagliptin (both belonging to same class). Azulix has glimipride and diamicron has gliclazide (both belonging to same class). You need to stop duplications and also get a hba1c done (it shows 3 months average of blood sugar level). Review with reports.

Hi Lybrate user. 190/120 mg blood pressure is too much high. First of all some investigation like renal function test, r/e of urine, lipid profile, fundoscopy should be done. Both medicines can be taken but I think more potent medicine are required. Thank you.

Though she is having satisfactory blood sugars, her blood pressure is high and she is having cardiac symptoms. Breathlessness and chest pain which responded to nitroglycerin also suggest cardiac symptoms. Continue nitroglycerin till you consult cardiologist for complete cardiac evaluation such as ecg, echo and angiography (if suggested by your cardiologist)

Your mother can use dytor tab. Dytor/ torsemide is used to reduce extra fluid in the body (edema) caused by conditions such as heart failure, liver disease, and kidney disease. This can lessen symptoms such as shortness of breath and swelling in your arms, legs, and abdomen. This drug is also used to treat high blood pressure.

In the meantime, many supportive treatments can be done to control symptoms, help slow the growth of cysts, and help prevent or slow down the loss of kidney function in people with PKD. These include: careful control of blood pressure. prompt treatment with antibiotics of a bladder or kidney infection.

Blood pressure is under control though he's taking more medicines creatinine levels are higher but on borderline only get other kidney function tests like blood urea reduce salt and take more potassium through citrus fruits like oranges and lemon juice reduce proteins also. Take more seasonal vegetables and fruits keep cholesterol levels and sugar levels under control he needs to get consultation with another doctor for better control of bp with less and safer medicines it's difficult to suggest generic medicines without looking at all parameters of high bp.

Your father is suffering from heart failure. Heart failure is a condition in which the heart can't pump enough blood to meet the body's needs. Heart failure does not mean that your heart has stopped or is about to stop working. It means that your heart is not able to pump blood the way it should. It can affect one or both sides of the heart. The weakening of the heart's pumping ability causes Blood and fluid to back up into the lungsThe buildup of fluid in the feet, ankles and legs - called edemaTiredness and shortness of breath Common causes of heart failure are coronary artery disease, high blood pressure and diabetes. Sometimes it may be caused by viral infections of the heart. The medication he's taking our intended to reduce the pressure on the weekend hard by reducing the blood volume & his heart rate. So keep taking the medications and to get regular cardiac check up every year to keep a track on his condition.
