Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. However, the information is not adequate. I need to know following: age of the patent, hba1c%, profile, serum creatinine, urea, bp readings, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise and correct dosage of the medications being taken (glycomet gp2 how many times?) tablet telma 20 mg is for high blood pressure. Therefore, if you come back with above information, preferably in a private conversation, then I will be able to guide specifically and also prescribe if any additional drugs are needed. I am sure you are aware that in a well controlled diabetes patient fbg should be < 100 mg or closer to it, pp should be 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 6.5% in persons below 60 years and in older ones < 7%. Thanks.

My father having a cough and cold for 2 days but now its almost over, but he has a fever since last night and its around 103. It comes downs to 101 but not much. The main issue is, as I told his cough is almost over but since morning when he was standing and cough bit hard, he gets fainted and falls straight on the floor and wakes up just after 2 to 3 seconds but he is not aware that he fainted and fallen. It happened twice since morning. He is a high bp patient, and he takes telma am on daily basis, but since morning his bp is quite low, in the morning it was around 105/68, but now it is 111/58. Can anyone please tell me why this is happening and what we can do about this? Please.

Hello lybrate-user, I have read and do understand your concern. The clinical scenario of your father is very crucial and shouldn't be taken lightly. Does he currently experience any symptoms? Is the fever still present? And please maintain a record of his daily blood pressure and temperature for a few days. Let me know via private consultation with a more detailed history and present complaints. Feel free to reach out anytime.

Measure BP every two months even after your medicines are stopped. They can be restarted later if BP is consistently above 140 for many months. Taking correct care of BP can increase average life span of human beings from 72 years to 74 years, but it should not become the focus of ones life.

Greetings, considering your age I would advice to keep chacking your blood pressure. Any signs of high blood pressure like headache from the nape of the neck, dizziness, dimmed vision shall need an immediate intervention. Sometimes a raised bp might nit show much signs ,so it is better to have a bp monitoring apparatus at home. Also it is essential to know whether the medications are working or not. Also according ti the data given your bmi is also high so I would advice you do a complete lipid profile and consult a doctor. Take care.

HI mam fatty liver is the excess accumulation of lipids (representing predominantly triglycerides) is evident within hepatocytes. Your liver enzymes levels are normal .sorbiline converts deposited fat in to lecithin and other similar fats. Lecithin is a type of high density lipid which lowers the cholesterol level in body. You can take it. Along with that you can also take homoeopathic medicines to improve years immunity and resistance. Proper diet and regular exercise will definitely help you.

Hello- Although it seems unlikely that blood pressure and premature ejaculation could be linked, they actually affect one another directly on many levels. Blood pressure abnormalities, such as hypertension (high blood pressure), can seriously contribute to weak erections and premature ejaculation. In addition, the stress and anxiety that comes with high blood pressure can make sex extremely difficult and make ejaculation control nearly impossible. Current traditional blood-pressure medication simply resolve blood pressure problems, but does not remedy the sexual difficulties that often times go hand in hand with the illness. If you are suffering from inability to hold ejaculation longer than 15 min and high blood pressure, taking action to control blood pressure and herbal remedy to help you strengthen ejaculatory nerves for better control.
