About Roko 2 MG Capsule
Roko capsule treats sudden diarrhea by slowing down the movement of the gut. This reduces bowel movements and makes stool less watery. It helps in treating gastroenteritis, short bowel disease and inflammatory bowel disease. It also helps those with blood in the stool.
If you have any of the following conditions, inform your doctor before taking the capsule.

How does this medication work?
This medicine acts on the opioid receptors present in the walls of the food pipe and reduces the rhythmic contraction known as peristalsis. Thus food stays longer in the intestine and more water and electrolyte is absorbed from it. This relieves the symptoms of diarrhea and makes the stool more solid. This medicine also increases the tone of anal opening and reduces the sense of urgency associated with diarrhea.
