Stanozolol

Prescription vs OTC : Prescription by Doctor required

About Stanozolol

Stanozolol is an artificial anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) that is derived from the naturally occurring hormone testosterone. The drug is administered to combat the diseases like genetically passed angioedema that may cause swelling genitals, facial features, intestine walls and the throat.

Stanozolol works by binding to androgen receptors like membrane bound receptor proteins LAGS and stanozolol-binding protein (STBP) and activating AR-mediated signalling. This in turn leads to synthesis of protein, production of erythropoietin, fat loss, production of haemoglobin, and formation of red blood cells. As a result, it develops or maintains masculine characteristics.

Do not take this drug without consulting your doctor and let your doctor know if you have high levels of calcium or cholesterol, have liver or kidney diseases, have diabetes or prostate cancer , have bleeding or blot clotting issues or have had a stroke or heart attack. Do not take this medication at all if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Common side effects of Stanozolol include swelling of arms or ankles, hoarseness of voice, persistent erection, enlargement of breast, acne, insomnia, facial hair growth and irregular menstruation in women. In more severe cases, Stanozolol may cause liver problems so immediately consult your doctor if you experience pain in the abdomen, light coloured stools, dark coloured urine, nausea, vomiting or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
