About Stator-F Tablet

Stator tablet belongs to a group of drugs known as statins. It reduces the level of low density lipoprotein or bad cholesterol in the body. It also helps in curing various conditions like narrowing of arteries that arises due to high cholesterol levels in the body.

Use of this medication must be as per directed by the doctor. However if you have missed a dose, don’t try to compensate it by taking an extra dose with the next one. That is extremely harmful to the body. This drug should be stored at a temperature between 20 to 25 degree celsius. It should be kept away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight. Keep the drug away from the reach of the children and pets.

      How does this medication work?

      This medication interacts with Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate. Atorvastatin increases the number of hepatic LDL receptors on the cell-surface, enhancing uptake and catabolism of LDL. It inhibits the hepatic synthesis of VLDL, thereby reducing the total number of VLDL and LDL particles. Fenofibrate is class of drug known as fibrate. It is mainly used for treating cholesterol level for people at a risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
