Sumitrex 6Mg Injection is a synthetic medication belonging to the the triptan class of drugs. It is used for treating cluster headaches and migraine. It works by narrowing the blood vessels in the brain which relieves headaches.
Do not have this medicine if you are allergic to it, if you have a history of heart problems, a blood vessel disease, high blood pressure or liver problems. Ask your doctor this medicine is safe for you if you have a history of kidney problems, seizures, breathing problems high cholesterol, diabetes or obesity. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and if you are taking other medications.
Its possible side effects are anxiety, flushing, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, pain, neck stiffness, redness, swelling, bruising or bleeding at the injection site, stomach upset, tiredness, vomiting, throat or sinus discomfort and weakness.
