About Supatret C Gel
Supatret C Gel is used to treat infections caused by bacteria such as intra-abdominal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, tonsillitis, dental infections, etc. When this medication is used along with other combinations in the form of lotion, it is used to treat acne vulgaris.
This drug belongs to a lincosamide class of antibiotics and works by blocking bacteria from synthesising protein. Common side effects of this drug include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, etc. It is advised to avoid taking this drug if –
- You suffer from gastrointestinal diseases.
- You are allergic to lincosamides.
- You have asthma, a liver disease, eczema, Crohn’s disease, or an intestinal disease.
- You are breastfeeding a baby.
