Hello, thanks for the query. Syndopa as a medication causes drowsiness in initial few days but I can assure you that the drowsiness wears off over a period of few weeks; so keep patience. Also benefits of syndopa shall become evident over next few days in form of decreased stiffness in limbs. There is no known medication which can lead to life time recovery in Parkinson disease. Syndopa is not a pain killer, it only replaces dopa in body which is deficient in patients of Parkinson disease. Long term usage of syndopa can lead to certain expected side effects and in that case you need to consult your neurologist so that dose of medication can be modified. Yes, cycling, walking and yoga will be helpful for your disease and it is advisable that you should continue with same.

Syndopa is the best medicine available for Parkinson's disease. However the dosing and dosage interval should be individualized based on the need. Even improper dosing and dosage interval may produce poor control. Also there are many other drugs available which could helpful if added to Syndopa judiciously. There is a surgical procedure called DBS is available which can give better result in carefully selected patients.

Its primarily due to disturbances in frontal cortical regions, the basal ganglia, and the midbrain locomotor region, though palliative treatment is available requires detailed questioning so as to ascertain your personality and to treat you symptomatically. Treatment is safe and without side effects in biochemic system of medication. Consult me in private.
