About Talobet 100 MG Injection

Talobet 100 MG Injection helps in the treatment of hypertension, commonly known as high blood pressure. The drug may either be prescribed on its own or in combination with other drugs. Talobet 100 MG Injection may also be prescribed for the treatment of other health issues as per your doctor’s discretion. The drug works as an adrenergic receptor blocker, which effectively blocks alpha as well as beta receptors present in the body.

Doctors do not recommend the drug to those patients who are allergic to any substance that is present in it. Patients suffering from heart blockage, asthma, breathing problems or irregular heart beat are not prescribed Talobet 100 MG Injection as their condition may worsen.

The drug is mostly administered in the form of an injection either at the doctor’s clinic or at the hospital. You can also learn to administer the drug yourself at home. In order to do so, ensure that your doctor teaches you how to administer the injection and use the drug the correct way. Talobet 100 MG Injection should not be used if the liquid has turned cloudy or the vial is damaged. The drug as well as the needles and syringes should be kept away from kids and pets. Also make sure that you do not reuse a syringe or needle that you have already opened. Make sure that you dispose them properly.

One of the side effects of Talobet 100 MG Injection is dizziness. To avoid any accident as a result of dizzy spells or fainant stay in bed after you receive your dose. You can return back to your daily activities about 3 hours after taking the dosage. Ensure that you move slowly as well.

Some other side effects of Talobet 100 MG Injection are nausea, development of excess acid in the stomach, headache, heartburn, indigestion, rashes, foul taste in the mouth, weakness, pain or discomfort and belching.

      Not recommended in patients with known allergy to Talobet 100 MG Injection or other beta blockers.

    • Asthma

      Not recommended in the patients with known history of lung diseases like asthma, bronchospasm and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

    • Heart Block Greater Than First Degree

      Not recommended in patients with 2nd or 3rd degree AV block.

    • Sinus Bradycardia

      Not recommended in the patients with the condition like Sinus Bradycardia.

        Corticosteroids

        Corticosteroids like prednisolone, methylprednisolone may decrease the effect of Talobet 100 MG Injection if taken more than a week. Close monitoring of blood pressure is necessary. Any symptoms of swelling of feet and hands, rapid weight gain should be reported to the doctor. Dose adjustments are to be made if necessary.

        Antidiabetic medicines

        Talobet 100 MG Injection may mask the symptoms of low blood glucose levels like tremors, fast heartbeat, palpitations and makes it difficult for the patients to understand. Inform your doctor if you are a diabetic patient your doctor may prescribe an alternate medicine. Close monitoring of blood glucose is necessary.

        Beta-2 adrenergic bronchodilators

        Talobet 100 MG Injection is not recommended with the bronchodilators like salbutamol, formoterol due to the opposite action. Inform the doctor if you have any lung disease and receiving inhalers. An alternate medicine should be considered based on the clinical condition.

        Asthma

        Talobet 100 MG Injection should not be used in patients suffering from bronchial asthma or any other lung diseases.         Bradyarrhythmia/Av Block

        Talobet 100 MG Injection or other beta blockers are not recommended in the patients with Sinus Bradyarrhythmia or heart block greater than the first degree.
