About Tazar 4.5 G Injection
Tazar, being an anti-bacterial agent in combination with a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It is used for treating several serious bacterial infections and infections during surgery. This injection works by blocking the growth of the bacterial cell wall, which eventually kills the bacteria. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
This medicine is not recommended for you if you are allergic towards any penicillin or cephalosporin drug. Possible side effects of this medicine which you may experience are

How does this medication work?
This medication is an antibacterial drug that is injected intravenously or intramuscularly to prevent bacterial infection. It kills the bacteria by preventing them from forming their cell walls by binding with certain penicillin-binding proteins present in the bacterial cells. Tazar also works as a beta-lactamase inhibitor by binding to beta-lactamase enzyme produced by bacterial cells, which in turn inhibits its enzymatic action and prevents beta-lactam antibiotics from being metabolized by the enzyme.
