About Teevir Tablet

This medication is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI). It is used to treat HIV infection. This drug filters out the HIV from the blood, it does not cure the disease but is helpful in preventing AIDS.

    This medication is used for the prevention and treatment of HIV infection. The drug looks to interfere with the reverse transcriptase procedure, which converts HIV RNA into DNA. This activity occurs by way of competition to deoxyadenosine 5’triphosphate, natural substrate after getting incorporated within the DNA by termination of the chain.
