About Telmikind Beta 40 mg/50 mg Tablet

This medication is composed of Telmisartan, Metoprolol and treats high blood pressure. It is also effective in reducing the risk of serious conditions such as stroke, heart attacks and other related heart conditions. The tablet helps maintain optimal blood pressure levels in a person’s body.

    The drug displaces angiotensin II with very high affinity from its binding site at the AT1 receptor subtype, which is responsible for the known actions of angiotensin II. It blocks beta receptors sites in the heart, blood vessels, and lungs. This results in inhibition of epinephrine resulting in relaxed blood vessels. Thus pressure is lowered and blood flow to the heart is improved.
