This medication is used for a bladder that is overly active with symptoms of leakage, increased frequency of urination, and urgency. It is an antimuscarinic (anticholinergic) agent and blocks the action of a chemical that controls the contractions of the urinary bladder. The capsule should not be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or to fesoterodine.
