About Tide Plus 10 Tablet
This medication is used to treat conditions of high blood pressure, heart failure, edema and low potassium levels. It also helps against a condition where too much aldosterone is produced by the adrenal glands.
On using this drug, you might experience side-effects such as dryness of the mouth, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, fatigue, an increase in hair growth, etc. Other rare side effects include blood in the urine, clouded thoughts, constipation, numbness and chest pain.
You should not use this tablet if you have a kidney, liver or heart disease or an adrenal gland disorder,. Exercise caution if you are pregnant or breastfeeding a baby. The doctor will prescribe your dose taking into consideration your condition and overall medical history.

This medication is an antagonist that acts via binding of the receptors at the site of potassium exchange within distal renal tubules. It allows for excretion of excessive amounts of water and sodium. It also reduces the blood pressure by inhibiting Na-K-2Cl reabsorption at ascending loop of Henle. This helps in increasing the excretion of water and sodium.
