About Tramazac Pd 325 Mg/10 Mg/37.5 Mg Tablet

Tramazac tablet is a combination medication. The active constituents are classified as a mild analgesic, anti-emetic and an opioid analgesic. It is used to treat fever and is the most commonly used as pain reliever. This medication also helps in treating pain in case of a backache, a headache, arthritis and toothache. It reduces pain in the body caused due to fever. It is often given to patients who suffer from cancer or have undergone surgery to help them cope up with the pain.

You should stop using this tablet if you experience an allergic reaction to it or notice any other serious symptoms like dark urine, clay-colored stools or jaundice. Overdosing may result in liver failure.

You should not take this tablet if –

  • You are allergic to this tablet.
  • You are suffering from a serious liver disorder.
  • You normally consume more than 3 alcohol beverages per day or have a history of alcoholism.

    How does this medication work?

    This tablet is a pain relief medication that is administered both orally. It selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals. It also acts on certain specific pain receptors in the brain and inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine, serotonin. It also enhances the release of serotonin thereby changing the perception and response to pain. Lastly, it attaches to the dopaminergic receptors without causing any release of the chemical dopamine. This in turn, facilitates gastric emptying and decreases small bowel transit time.
