About Trazodone

Trazodone is primarily administered for the treatment of major depressive disorders, insomnia and other psychological problems. It helps to induce slightly hypnotic effects, sleep and relaxation, that eventually relieves from anxiety. It helps to provide repose in case of agitation, and promotes significant improvement in case of obsessive-compulsive disorders. Other benefits are seen in cases of bulimia nervosa, panic disorder, recurrent nightmares, erectile dysfunction, alcohol withdrawal or schizophrenia.
