This medication is composed of Alpha Lipoic Acid, Folic Acid, Methylcobalamin, Pregabalin, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and prescribed for the treatment of a number of medical conditions like neuropathic pain and diabetic neuropathy. It prevents certain cells in the body from damaging and controls the levels of various vitamins (Vitamin E and C) in the body. The capsule also effectively breaks down the carbohydrates present in the body and converts it into usable energy.

The drug is a GABA analog and binds to the voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system. This causes a reduced release of neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, substance P thus slowing down nerve signals. It acts as a cofactor for enzyme methionine synthase, which transfers methyl groups for the regeneration of methionine from homocysteine. In anemia, it increases blood cell production by promoting nucleic acid synthesis in the bone marrow and by promoting maturation and division of erythrocytes. The medicine also helps in the synthesis of purine and pyrimidine which are necessary for the production of blood and its component.
