This is a phenothiazine in combination with anticholinergic. It is used for treating all kinds of mental and mood disorders such as schizophrenia and anxiety. This medication can also reduce aggression and hallucinations.

This medication obstructs within the brain the postsynaptic mesolimbic dopaminergic D1 as well as D2 receptors. It slows down the release of hypophyseal and hypothalamic hormones.
