About Tuftil CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet

Tuftil CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet is used for the treatment of susceptible infections of the lower respiratory tract, otitis media, urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, bone and joint, sepsis and gonorrhoea. It is an antibiotic drug that a part of the class of medicines called cephalosporin.

This broad-spectrum antibiotic is useful in treating a wide variety of infections that are caused by bacteria. This medicine specifically used for the treatment of infections caused by staphylococci, group B streptococci, H. influenzae (type A and B), E. coli, Enterobacter, Salmonella, and Klebsiella.

It is used in the treatment of conditions such as acute or chronic bronchitis, tonsillitis, Lyme disease, Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, pneumonia, laryngitis, sinusitis and urinary tract infections. This drug is also used to treat bacterial infections of the throat, cervix, pelvis, urethra, skin, middle ear and nasal passage.

Tuftil CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet works by creating a hostile environment for the bacteria to survive. It damages the cell walls of bacteria, prevents the growth of bacteria and therefore eliminates the bacterial infection.

Tuftil CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet intervenes in the bacteria’s process of forming cell walls. The cell walls of the bacteria are essential for their survival. The bacterial cell walls protect the contents of the cell from leaking out. This antibiotic damages the bond that keeps the cell wall in one piece.

Therefore, Tuftil CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet causes holes to appear in the cell wall, making it impossible for the bacteria to survive. In this way, by destroying bacteria and inhibiting the reproduction of bacterial cells, the antibiotic is effective in eliminating bacterial infections.

The risk of side effects increases if you take this medication while suffering from conditions like liver disorders, kidney problems, heart conditions, allergies, gastrointestinal diseases, phenylketonuria and diarrhoea caused by Clostridium difficile.
