you can do warm salt water gargling for throat pain. Lozenges of tusq chewable will help to reduce cough. Avoid curds and buttermilk for few days. Paracetamol for pain can be taken. If still persists after 4 days than do consult.

You seem to have a foreign body sensation in the throat.
