About Urifen 7.5Mg Tablet

Urifen 7.5Mg Tablet is administered to patients suffering from severe urinary incontinence and a few other types of bladder and urinary tract problems. The drug has an action on the muscarinic acetylcholine receptors that are responsible for the contractions in the bladder muscles. It helps to relax the bladder muscles. The action, therefore, reduces the urge to urinate. This therefore helps to control the overactive bladder. The drug belongs to the antispasmodic class of drugs that helps to prevent leakage of urine.

You should discuss your medical history with your doctor if you have suffered from glaucoma, heart, liver or kidney diseases, have any blockages in your intestines or history of any infection, or if you are allergic to any drug. You must also take prior advice regarding the dosage of this medicine especially if you are pregnant planning to conceive any time soon or breastfeeding a baby.
