About Vertizac Tablet
Vertizac is a combination medicine containing antihistamine drugs. It treats balance disorders such as in Ménière's disease, including vertigo, ringing in the ears, nausea and vomiting. Benefits of being on this drug also include relief from travel sickness.
It is also known to increase the risk of having acute and chronic parkinsonism. Overdosing can cause symptoms such as somnolence, hypotonia, coma, vomiting, stupor, and convulsions.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult doctor before consuming this tablet. Consult your doctor if you suffer with liver or kidney problems, Parkinson's disease or a blood disorder called acute porphyria.

How does this medication work?
It works by preventing the relay of repetitive messages from the nerves in the inner ears to the vomiting center in the brain. The other active constituent also has antimuscarinic effect but is mainly a H1-antagonist. It mainly functions by preventing the stimulation of vestibule and labyrinth thereby suppressing vertigo, vomiting, dizziness and nausea during linear or angular acceleration motion
