About Vinblastine
Vinblastine is used to treat various types of cancer, especially breast cancer and leukemia, which is cancer of the white blood cells. It is also used to treat bladder cancer, certain types of lung cancer and sarcomas, and some brain tumors. It is often used together with other chemotherapy drugs. It is available in the form of a powder or a solution, and is administered intravenously. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancerous cells.
