About Xalatan 0.005% Eye Drop

Xalatan 0.005% Eye Drop is a drop used for treating ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma. These drops are a prostaglandin analog. This medicine regulates the fluid drainage from the eye. This lowers increased pressure in the eye which further prevents blindness.

On using Xalatan 0.005% Eye Drop you may experience side effects such as itchiness, dry eyes, skin darkening, joint pain, cough, chest pain, swelling, difficulty in breathing, wheezing, eye redness and stinging. Xalatan 0.005% Eye Drop has a tendency of causing discoloration of the iris. Seek medical attention if you face any allergic reaction that causes discomfort.

Before using Xalatan 0.005% Eye Drop notify your doctor if: you are allergic to any ingredient contained within Xalatan 0.005% Eye Drop, you have any other allergies, you have any infection/swelling/injury of the eyes, you are already taking medications, you have a history of inflammation, herpes, you are scheduled for an eye surgery, you have other types of glaucoma, you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding a baby.
