About Xovoltib 50mg Tablet

Xovoltib 50mg Tablet is a drug that is used to treat a particular type of lung cancer which is known as non-small cell lung cancer. It spreads to other parts of the body too. This belongs to a class of drugs known as kinase inhibitors.

It is the dimaleate salt form of afatinib. An orally bioavailable anilino-quinazoline derivative and inhibitor of the receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) epidermal growth factor receptor (ErbB; EGFR) family, with antineoplastic activity. This drug works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. It binds to a certain protein (epidermal growth factor receptor-EGFR) in some tumors.
