About Zenflox-Plus Tablet
This medication is a multi-drug composition. It is used to treat infections caused by bacteria. It works as an antibiotic by stopping the growth of bacteria and also killing it.
It is used to treat infections such as bronchitis ( infection of the air tubes to the lungs) and infections of ear, throat, tonsils, etc. This Tablet only treats bacterial infections and doesn’t work for viral infections like flu.
The medicine is usually taken at intervals of 12 or 24 hours. It should be taken at the same time every day. If you miss a dose, it’s better to skip that dose if it’s already too late. Overdosing can cause harmful effects in your body.

How does this medication work?
Zenflox belongs to the third generation cephalosporins. This medication works as a bactericidal by binding to the penicillin-binding proteins and inhibits the bacterial cell wall synthesis. It also works as a bactericidal by inhibiting the bacterial DNA gyrase enzyme, which is essential for DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. This leads to expansion and destabilization of the bacterial DNA and causes cell death.
