About Zerograin-Plus Tablet
Zerograin is a drug that is used to prevent migraine attacks. It is used to lower the frequency of the attacks and in some instances the severity. This medication is grouped under a category of non-selective drugs called calcium antagonist along with dopamine antagonist and COX inhibitor.
The common side effects of this medication are drowsiness, weight gain, nausea, heartburn, anxiety and depression (as seen in adults). In case, effects persist for longer duration's inform your physician.
If you miss a dose take it as soon as possible. However, if it already time for your next dose, do not club doses but skip the previous one. Ensure to keep these tablets in a cool and dry place (between 15 to 30 degrees C) and out of the reach of children. If you happen to overdose contact your doctor right away.

How does this medication work?
Zerograin attaches to the dopaminergic receptors without causing any release of the chemical dopamine. Facilitates gastric emptying and decreases small bowel transit time. It also works by blocking the influx of calcium inside the cells. This medication also blocks certain other specific neurotransmitters and caused relaxation of blood vessels. Lastly, it selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. Activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals too.
