About Alcohol Screen Urine Test

The ethanol test/EtG is performed to find out the presence of alcohol in urine, even after the alcohol is no longer measurable. The presence of EtG in urine is an indicator that alcohol was ingested and can be detected in urine up to 80 hours from the time of ingestion. The test may also be done on a regular basis for a person who is being treated for alcohol abuse.
