This medication performs its action by increasing the production of red blood cells in the bone marrow and slowing down the overactive muscles of the heart. Alpha Lipoic Acid present in the Mecofol Plus NF Capsule is a vitamin-like chemical with antioxidant properties. It prevents cell damage in the body, as well as restores vitamin levels. Methylcobalamin is the neurologically active form of Vitamin B12, which helps in increasing physical energy, encourages detoxification and supports brain and nerve health. It also helps improve bone mineral density. Pyridoxine is a form of vitamin B6 that helps in the breaking down of protein, fats, and carbohydrates.
