Meganeuron OD Plus Capsule - Precautions & How to Use
Before using Meganeuron OD Plus Capsule, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may give you more exposure to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
Administration of folic acid alone is improper therapy for pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias in which vitamin B12 is deficient:

Any allergy
- Avoid alcohol consumption, especially if having alcoholic cirrhosis
- Bleeding or blood clotting disorder
- Breastfeeding
- Difficulty in breathing
- Do not take it on your own
- Do not take this medicine as a sole treatment for diabetes and its complications
- Folic acid in doses above 0.1 mg daily may obscure the diagnosis of pernicious anemia
- Hives
- Notify the doctor if experiencing burning, tingling, or numb feeling
- People having a history of liver disease
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding

- Stomach ulcer with active bleeding
- Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and throat
- Take this medicine on empty stomach about 1 hour before or 2 hours after consuming food
- Ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease
- Used to treat or prevent low levels of vitamin B6
- Vitamin B12 is used to treat pernicious anemia
