Tissue Transglutaminase Antibody or TTGA - IgA is a single effective test to diagnose Celiac Disease. This disease is characterized by unwarranted response to gluten in the diet. Gluten is a protein found in food grains like wheat, rye, barley etc. the body releases antibodies if gluten is ingested. The antibodies IgA are especially linked to celiac disease.
