What type of diet should be taken in second trimester of pregnancy. Can we take heavy fat diet. And what type of exercise require.

Diet in second trimester should be healthy, home made food preferably, not very spicy/ fried/oily, protein rich (pulses, daals, eggs, fish, sprouts). Include all seasonal fruits except raw papaya/ pineapple, take dry fruits like 1/2 almonds, preferably soaked, 1/2 walnuts, figs, black raisins, it gives you iron & calcium required for pregnancy. Eat small frequent meals, every 2/3 hrly which reduces discomfort/ nausea after meals.
