I have a two years old Keloid scar under my jaw which is formed after a biopsy about 1 inch. How much time and cost it will take to cure and do I have to undergo a surgery again for that?

Hello, There are various treatment modalities for keloid. The most common being Steroid injections, 5Fu injections. Cryo therapy, botox laser. Since its already been 2 years silicone gel sheets and creams will not work. Surgery is not the first choice as there is high chance of recurrance. Initially start on steoid injections 4-6 sessions which are cheap you will find very good results with that. You can send photographs and consult privately for better assessment and opinion.
