Sir I had unprotected oral sex 4 months back.
I do not know her hiv status I went for a hiv test after 45 days it came negative .22 by CIMA method and now after 125 days of my possible exposure I went for a test it came .24 by CIMA method.
My questions are:-
1) why the index ratio in my results changed does it means I can turn positive?
2) when is hiv test is conclusive?
3) am I free from hiv?
1. Ratio does not matter till it below reference range
2 Your report is conclusive after 6 month. If you want to confirm now then go for HIV 1 Proviral DNAqualitative test
3. At present no one can say you are free or not free.
