Hi, I am 40 years old, having hypothyroid, which is under control, recently facing problem of urticaria after certain food items, taking daily allegra 180 helps. Is there any permanent solution or medicine for this?

You have to avoid taking those food items which cause allergy and if it happens antiallergic medicines are the answer.

Mr Prashant, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details given. It would have been better if you had actually mentioned the TSH, T3 & T4 levels. Since the incidence of urticaria is due to some foods according to you, it is better to avoid the known foods, which cause allergy. There is no other option. Repeated exposure will lead to more problems. Thanks.
