I went to India for a pleasure trip after 20 days I had high bp 150/90 for 3/4 days. Usually my bp stays under 140/80. I am 72 years old. I am on metoprolol succ25 er once a day. I was given sample2. 5 once in the evening. I took that for 20 days (in india you can buy that without prescription, and developed a red skin and rash/itchiness around my neck and right arm. Is it normal? I stopped taking stamlo I am back to usa now and taking hydroxyzine (2 /day) and applying benadryl cream on the affected area and worried. Going to see my doctor tomorrow.
