I'm diagnosed with severe b12 deficiency. The doctor prescribed b12 shots and oral tablets. I do not know if I got b12 deficiency due to presence of intrinsic factor antibodies or I did not eat foods with b12. I'm an overweight male too. I know that b12 injections gets absorbed well but I have a doubt regarding the absorption of b12 tablets. So, my query is, "does b12 tablets (oral consumption) get absorbed well even if I have intrinsic factor antibodies present in my body?
