I am asked by the neurologist to do a nerve conduction velocity test as I have numbness in hands and feet. I failed to do the test twice as I was not comfortable with the electric impulse. I was literally jumping on the bed. My neurologist refused to treat me further. Is there any alternative to nerve conduction velocity test?
It is always better to nerve conduction studies to know the cause of your numbness in hands. Just trust your neurologist & go ahead with the test.
