Sir, my doctor asked me to do double marker test during 12th week. That time the risk came quite high but she didn't like the report as it was not done from the hospital. So, I took the test again during 13+2 weeks. The report then showed very low risk. Now my doctor asked me not to go for amniocentesis. What should I do? please help.
Marker tests are only statistical tests meaning gives you statistical chance.
Amniocentesis is specific test (with small risk)
so in view of age and reports you decide with help of examining obstetrician.
