I recently had bloating in my stomach went to the hospital a blood test was carried out I was told I had hpylorie. I was give antibiotics clarithromycin 500 mg lansoprazole 30 mg. Flagyl. I got relieve but a few days I was able to go to toilet and poo but now it?s so difficult to poo and I noticed blood in my stool I stopped the medication immediately. Pooing is hard but when it comes no more blood but I just don?t feel too good. And the fact that is so difficult to poo is worrisome I don?t know what to eat and not what to eat I really need my bowel movement back. I have a headache.

Hello Ms. lybrate-user you have mentioned as hpyloi infection I hope you underwent upper gi endoscopy to confirm the diagnosis because proofing with rapid urease test or with biopsy or with the i-scan we do here is must to confirm h.pylori induced gastritis and you say there is constipation associated which is also a significant symptom hpylori treatment is for 2+4 6 weeks treatment you can not stop in between for constipation and ??fissure take high fiber diet laxatives - syp looz 15 ml morning and night sitz bath (take luke warm water with betadine 1cup in a tub and sit over it immersing your anus morning and night) use anovite oint for local application into your anal canal! but pls get evaluated for h pylori.
