I was suffering with panic attacks two years back and my bp used to shoot up to 160/90, but after I received consultation from psychiatrist all is fine. In the mean while I was put on 2 high bp pills telsar beta 50 and ln bloc 10, now my bp ranges from 125/75 to 135/80 and doctor has reduced my pills to telsar beta 25. I run workout 4 times a week and my rhr is 40-50 bpm now. Should I still continue to take pills? All my test reports were ok. May be I was put on to bp pills due to panic attacks. Should I still be taking pills for high bp. I suffer from whitecoat syndrome but at home my bp does not exceed 130/80 please advise please advise. I feel completely ok now.
