Hi lybrate-user. Maybe your periods have stopped for your age and so because of the decrease in the hormones vaginal dryness will be there causing itching an pain during intercourse. U can use premarin cream vaginally daily for 21 days and stop.

This itching could be due to some vaginal infection which needs to be ruled out bya gynaec after examination. Or it could be due to vaginal dryness due to menopause. So use premarin cream locally twice a day.
