My mother is suffering from dry coughing for past 1 year. It is like 10 times in a day but at times it is so severe that she gets unable to breathe for those 2-3 minutes. After such coughing she gets relief only after burping. While there is no problem ij eating or gulping anything, she has regular feeling that something is stuck in throat /food pipe. We have her undergone several tests but yet to diagnose the reason n cure for this. 1. Endoscopy - normal 2. Sonography - normal 3. Face xray - normal 4. Lung infection - none 5. Test similar to endography through nasal - normal 6. Allergy - yet to be explored. Other medical conditions 1.high bp - telma 20 one tab daily for last one year 2. Lost approx 8 kg in last one year 3. Shifted to sandha salt one year back, now shifted again to normal salt assuming iodine can be one reason. 4. Changed cooking oil, chilli powder one month back to control any possible allergy. No relief yet has taken cough syrups but not found any cure.
