I am a 43 year female and I have staph and e.coli infection at both my cervix and urinary tract. I saw a doctor who recommended I take pefloxacin tablet 400 mg for 10 days, 2 times daily. However, I have taken it for 7 days as today but I still feel little pain at my pelvic and also when I urinate it has blood in it. Please what could be happening. Thanks.

Hello, kindly get a urine culture and sensitivity test. If problem is still persistent it could be because the antibiotic hasn't worked really well. Also drink lots of water. Take syp citralka twice a day. For more details you can connect anytime! take care.
