Respected sir .i am on telista am, tiban m ,clopitab cv 10. My fasting blood sugar is 104, pp is 179 hba1c 6.7.lipid profile, kidney profile is normal. Recent tmt test is negative .can I take pioglitazone 7.5 mg with all the medicine which I am taking for 6 months. Before that 6 month I was on pioglitazone 7.5 mg which controlled my blood sugar nicely and hba1c was 5.9.when I left pioglitazone my hba1c increase suddenly. Can continue pioglitazone 7.5 mg with clopidogrel and amlodipine. Please suggest.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Your blood glucose levels and hba1c% are quite well controlled. Pp glucose can be a bit lower, which can be managed by diet control and additional exercise. You have not mentioned your age, bp readings, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise as well as serum creatinine and urea, plus lipid profile. Therefore, unlees all the information is made available it s difficult to give any opinion. However, your glucose levels are fairly well controlled. Thanks.
