I'm 27 year old, 174 cm tall and I weigh 83 kgs. I have been hitting gym regularly for past 1 year but I'm finding it difficult to get rid of my belly fat. It looks flat when lie down but when I'm up straight it's a way different story. I'm following calorie diet and I can see allot of good changes in my weight upper body etc but nothing when it comes to my belly. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong, I hope someone can help me in this. Thank you for your time and help.

Hi lybrate-user, There are two pillars for weight loss. Diet and exercise. Since you are exercising regularly, your diet may have scope for improvement. Also its important to know whether you have any medical condition which is leading to your condition. Your BMI is 27.4,which tells that you are overweight. Normal BMI range is 18.5?24.9. I would be happy to help you.
