This will help in many ways including improved flexibility, improved posture, improved weight and stress management. It also helps improve the chances of natural delivery. While many may advise not to exercise during pregnancy, do not pay heed. Exercising during pregnancy is beneficial but should definitely be done with care.

While the intensity and duration should definitely be reduced, some exercise should be continued. It not only improves flexibility and reduces stress, but it could also promote natural delivery. Neither quitting exercise completely nor overdoing is advised during pregnancy. Strike a balance based on your body needs and based on doctor s advice.

Exercising during pregnancy, within permissible limits, has multiple benefits and contributes to overall health, both emotional and physical. Also, talk to your doctor before deciding on a workout regime. This is especially true if you were not someone who was exercising before, as you are not very clear on your endurance levels. Bear in mind not to do any heroic attempts while exercising during pregnancy. It is mainly aimed at maintaining flexibility and posture and not to set and achieve targets.
