Seatbelts should be worn from your shoulder and instead of going over your belly, should come to the side so as to not constrict it. Also, use a lap seat belt attachment for extra support which you should wear fairly low at the abdomen so that it doesn t constrict your belly. While driving, ensure that the angle of the steering wheel is parallel to the breast bone so you can maintain good posture and not put pressure on your baby.

The best time to travel during pregnancy is the first trimester (first 3 months after conception)
5 of 5
The best time to travel or to plan a long trip when you are pregnant is the second trimester between 3 to 6 month after conception. There are primarily two reasons for this, during the first semester, you tend to feel uncomfortable due to morning sickness which can make travel very painful. Second, during the third trimester, you tend to carry a heavier weight and tend to become fatigued far more easily which would also make traveling difficult. The second trimester is thus the best time when you can plan a long journey as it is a happy medium between both the stages.
